King, Cecile (Sis)

Cecile (Sis) King, passed away at the Edith Cavel Care Centre in Lethbridge on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at the age of 93 years. Sis will be lovingly remembered by her sister Theresa of Richmond, B.C. and her brother Maurice of Meota, Sask.
Sis also leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Shirley Dubois of Texas and granddaughter Kelly of Texas, her special niece and nephew Allen and Velma Dunne of Lethbridge and many nieces and nephews. Sis is predeceased by her first husband Bud Chase in 1974, her second husband Frank King in 1980 and Charlie Chester and Harold Purdy. Sis was born in Meota, Sask. on Dec. 27, 1914. She married D. Bud Chase on Aug. 11, 1936.
Sis worked as an Avon Lady for 22 years. As well, she also worked in Kingston China Shop and Macleod Hardware.
Sis also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and loved to read.
Those wishing to pay their respects can do so at a visitation at Eden’s Funeral Home Fort Macleod on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery Fort Macleod on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eras Van Zyl officiating. Eden’s Funeral Home, Fort Macleod, in care of arrangements.
