Donald, Bryant (Rex)

Bryant (Rex) Donald passed away peacefully in Edmonton on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009.
Rex leaves to mourn his loving wife of 65 years, Helen; daughters Linda (Norman) and Deborah (Dan); his son Rex Jr. (Marilyn); and his sister Mabel (Peachie) Hodgins of Calgary.
Rex will be loving remembered by his 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rex was born to Opal and Randall Bryant in Avalon, Alta. on Aug. 29, 1923 and raised in the Ewelme community.
He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force air crew, upon discharged after World War Two he joined the Edmonton Police Force, retiring with rank of chief inspector.
Rex was an officer in the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed many happy years of fellowship including a trip to Africa with members.
Rex was a kind and loving family man. Extended family were always welcome to the Bryant family home. He was loved and he loved them. Private cremation.
