Eagleson, Loretta Gay

Loretta Gay Eagleson passed away suddenly on Friday, Aug. 27, 2010 at age of 67 years.
Loretta is survived by her son Ron (Penny); mother Fay; brother Gilbert (Ferne); granddaughter Jessica; nieces Debbie (Mike) and Bonnie (Wayne); and nephew Tim.
Loretta will also be missed by her great nieces, nephews and her numerous friends.
Loretta is predeceased by her father Art.
Loretta was born in Lethbridge and was the only daughter of Art and Fay Eagleson. She lived with her parents on their farm south of Macleod until she moved into Fort Macleod to begin working.
Loretta worked various jobs throughout her life in Fort Macleod. She was well known as she was always volunteering for anyone who needed her. She was a regular volunteer for the casino — which she loved to do. Loretta also was a regular rider on the handibus — going round and round the town. Loretta was an active volunteer at the Legion and also loved to play shuffleboard there.
There will be no funeral as requested, however a celebration of life was held in remembrance on Tuesday Aug. 31, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Macleod.
