All who knew Olive will understand the family’s sorrow at the loss of such a positive, loving force in their lives.

Olive was not only an accomplished homemaker but worked with her husband Gower to establish a welding and machining business in Fort Macleod in the 1940s and later produced the line drawings for Gower’s successful welding textbook.
Olive was a talented artist, crediting her success to the early influence of southern Alberta artists Annora Brown and Cathy Evins. Olive was also an avid sports person who made many friends curling, bowling, golfing and participating in Tai Chi.
The family is grateful for the excellent care Olive received at St. Michael’s Health Centre.
In accordance with Olive’s wishes, there will be a private family internment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Diabetes Association of Alberta.
On Saturday April 3 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., a memorial celebration of Olive’s life will be held for family and friends at the Senior Citizens Welcome Mat.
