Brooks Blackhawks scored three unanswered third-period goals Saturday to stage a come from behind 8-6 win over the visiting Fort Macleod Mustangs.
The loss snapped the Mustangs 10-game Ranchland Hockey League winning streak.
Fort Macleod will try to start another winning streak on Saturday, Dec. 18 when it hosts Peigan Cowboys at 8:30 p.m. at the Fort Macleod and District Sports Centre.

The Mustangs headed to Brooks on Saturday for their first look at the unbeaten Blackhawks.
Unfortunately for the Mustangs they went into what would assuredly be a tough game with just two lines.
Only Justin Donahue, Brendan Bobby, Tyler Bilodeau, Hayden Shackel, Kevin Olson, Call Marr, Darin Kay, Tyce Gallamore, Lander Marr, Shae Ouellette, Cody Hall and Lincoln Carride made the trip.
By contrast, Brooks iced a lineup that included 17 skaters and two goalies.
Carride got the Mustangs on the scoreboard first at 4:13, assisted by Kay.
Three minutes later Gallamore and Bilodeau set up Olson for a powerplay goal, and two minutes after that Carride scored his second to make it 3-0.

Brooks got goals later in the period from Chad Deunk and Tyler Skanderup to cut Fort Macleod’s lead to 3-2.
Just over a minute into the second period the Mustangs moved ahead 4-2 on a goal by Gallamore, with Carride and Lander Marr assisting.
Five minutes later Carride completed his hat trick with a powerplay goal assisted by Kay and Lander Marr.
Brooks got one back three minutes later on a goal by Richard Renard.
Fort Macleod responded three minutes later, this time with Shackel getting the goal assisted by Gallamore to make it 6-3.
Before the second period ended Deunk scored twice to complete his hat trick and pull Brooks to within 6-5.
The Blackhawks tied it six minutes into the third period on a goal by Tyson Gramlich.
Then with 4:40 remaining Renard scored his second to give Brooks its first lead of the game.
Renard closed out the scoring with 1:20 to play to give the Blackhawks an 8-6 win.

In a rare Friday night home game Cody Hall stopped 26 shots as Fort Macleod shut out the visiting Kainai Chiefs 14-0.
Fort Macleod scored seven times in the opening period and added four more in the second and three in the third for a convincing win.

Kevin Olson led the attack with four goals and six assists for a 10-point night.
Tyce Gallamore had four goals and two assists, including a natural hat trick in the first period.
Tyler Bilodeau had a hat trick, Justin Van Herk had two goals and an assist for the Mustangs and Hayden Shackel had a goal and two assists.
Cole Matson had four assists, Shae Ouelette had two and Lander Marr and Justin Donahue each had one.
