Wesley, Lee

Leroy (Lee) George Wesley of Claresholm, beloved husband of Shirley, passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital ICU on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010.
Lee was born Dec. 11, 1929 in Lethbridge. Lee was raised and educated in the farming communities of Wrentham and New Dayton up to 1943. Relocation ranch land was sourced in the Porcupine Hills west of Granum. He made a lifelong career from ranching and farming.
Lee met and married his sweetheart Shirley Yorgason, together sharing the responsibilities of career and family.
Besides Shirley, his loving wife of 61 years, he is survived by daughter Lora Lee and husband Martin Ralph Rhea and children Jennifer (Jen) Lynn and Brent Martin; son Allen George and wife Janice Colleen and children Daren Edward Cecil and Danielle Marie, Robert Lee and wife Emily Ruth, Steven Wilson Casey and Megan Janelle Casey; son Garth Leroy and wife Verna Odette and children Shannon Blair, Lanna Marie and Shon Gordon.
Lee is also survived by his sister Mary Ann Campbell and family.
Lee and Shirley loved to spend the winter months in Arizona. His many active interests included baseball, fishing, boating and fun family events.
Lee was predeceased by his parents George Henry and Anna Sophia, his son Dale Roy, his brother Gordon Ray and great-granddaughters Chantel and Amanda.
Funeral services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Claresholm on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at 1 p.m. Interment followed at Claresholm Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Lee’s name may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
