Emma Mcleod

Emma H. McLeod was born April 14, 1919 and passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012.
Emma was born in Hasket, Man. and retired in Orton near Fort Macleod.
Emma passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital during the evening of April 9, 2012 at the age of 92 only a few days before her 93rd birthday. Emma lived a life full of kindness, love and compassion for others.
Emma was predeceased by her loving husband Ernest; her youngest daughter Carol Tersigni; her parents Johan and Helga Nelson; as well as four brothers, Nels, Buddy, Ole, Henry; sister Myrtle; and half-sister Tillie.
Emma is survived by her two sisters Esther Krauklis and Anna Jacobsen; her four children, Ken (Robbie), Sharon (Ken), Bob (Rose) and Dan; son-in-law Vic Tersigni; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Emma knew that she was one of the strongest, most amazing women that have ever graced this earth. God bless her.
A prayer service was held Sunday, April 15 at Eden’s Funeral Home 2424 Fifth Ave. S., Fort Macleod.
A funeral service was held Monday, April 16, 2012, at Trinity United Church 220 20th St., Fort Macleod, with Rev. Eras Van Zyl officiating. Interment was held at Orton Cemetery.
