Miklos, Helen

Mrs. Helen S. Miklos of Fort Macleod, beloved wife of John Miklos and mother of Doreen (Jim) Pahl, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at the age of 85 years.
Helen was born on Nov. 3, 1927 in Lestock, Sask. She married John on May 2, 1950 in Lestock. Together they moved to Alberta in 1954 to work on the Wilf Allen farm. They then purchased their own farm in 1957. They lived there until they sold and moved to town in 1993.
Helen was very active at the Welcome Mat and at the Bingo Hall in Lethbridge. She spent many years with friends travelling across Canada, the northern United States and visiting family in the Yukon.
Helen is predeceased by her son Wilfred James Miklos in 2009.
Helen will be loved and missed greatly!
A graveside service was held on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge at 11 a.m.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Eden’s Funeral Home, 2424 Fifth Ave., Fort Macleod, with Major Glen Habkirk, officiating.
