Renfrow, Red

Mr. Melvin James “Red” Renfrow of Fort Macleod, beloved husband of Florence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the age of 80 years.
Besides his loving wife Florence, Melvin is survived by his stepdaughter Kathy Mandel; stepgrandchildren Caitlyn, Samantha, William; great stepgrandchildren Cassidy, Wyatt; sister Diane Langdon; and brother Gordon Renfrow.
Melvin was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Ethel and sister Rayman Reid.
Red was born May 16, 1932 in Lethbridge. He went to school in Coaldale. He had his own trucking company and ran a greenhouse business with his wife Florence.
Red enjoyed fishing, playing cards, spending time outdoors and watching TV. He was a practical joker. He was a member of the Legion.
A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m., on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 46, 159 — 23rd St., Fort Macleod.
