Season under way at Fort Macleod Golf Club

Fort Macleod Golf Club opened its doors on April 18 officially starting the 2013 season.
Mike McDougall resumes his position as pro shop manager and Hugh McEvoy remains the operations manager of Mac’s Clubhouse Diners.
New and existing members will have access to play any day of the week. (Tee times required).
Members also receive a reciprocal membership card for discounted rates on green fees at participating locations throughout southern Alberta and northern Montana (weekday restrictions apply).
The club would like to invite any new or existing members to take the opportunity to play in one of the league nights.
Men’s League starts Tuesday, May 14 and Thursday, May 16 and runs until September.
The opening scramble will be held Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. All current men’s league players are encouraged to attend. Dinner and prizes to follow. $20 entry (membership required).
The Mixed League night is projected to start on Monday, May 13. Tee times start at 5:30 p.m.
Ladies Day is Tuesday, morning at 9 a.m. and Wednesday evening at 5 p.m.
In the past, the club has held a Jackpot Night on Wednesdays starting at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend, as membership is not mandatory to play.
New features and events in the clubhouse:
Treasurer Jenn Wolstenholme has been a great help to the club and recently posted a big blue poster allowing members and public to read updated meeting minutes from the board of directors as well as any news and/or events.
The Club Championships and Member Appreciation weekend will be held on August 24-25. All members are welcome to attend.
