The second match was against St. Michael’s Dragons from Pincher Creek at 11:30 a.m. and again the girls were in the zone, winning the semi-finals in three straight by scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-17.
The final match took place against the rival home town team, Willow Creek Composite at 3:30 p.m.
The girls were ready for the final match. They knew that they had their work cut out for them but they came out strong winning the first match 25-21.
Claresholm battled back, winning the second match 25-16.
The Flyers did not let the loss get to their heads. They regrouped and came out finishing strong winning match three 25-18 and match four 25-19, which clinched their championship title and another banner to add to the rafters of F.P. Walshe school.
Congratulations to the girls for their outstanding play this season.
