Dwayne was predeceased by his daughter Vickie (Festa) Haliday on April 24, 2014.
Dwayne will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Margaret of Fort Macleod; his daughter Judy (Gary) Sproule; son Tracy (Kelly) Archibald; grandchildren Damien (Dali) Festa, Jared (Kelsey), Kirk and Quinn Sproule, Randy, Ashlee, and Jamie (Travis) Archibald; and great grandchildren Landon, Ethan, Noah, and Jayden.

Dwayne was born in Cardston to parents Bill and Delsa Archibald, and had a younger brother Ken. He lived his early life and attended school in Taber and Lethbridge before meeting Margaret. They were married Nov. 7, 1953 in Lethbridge and have resided in Fort Macleod since then.
Dwayne began working for the Government of Alberta Department of Highways in 1949 and retired in March of 1993.
After his retirement Dwayne continued to work with road construction contractors for a number of years.
Dwayne enjoyed many driving vacations to the United States and areas in Western Canada, and was always keen on taking a drive for a day’s outing. He looked forward to yard work and small projects he would have on the go, and would happily lend a helping hand to friends, neighbours and family whenever it was needed.
At Dwayne’s request a private family graveside service will be held. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial reception to be held at the Trinity United Church Hall on Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 2-4 p.m.
