Barbara Ann Fraser of Fort Macleod, beloved wife of Perry W. Fraser, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at the age of 46 years.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband Perry; children Sarah and Zayne; sister Gina (Clayton) Cook of Okotoks; and brother Patric (Tobi) Langlois of Red Deer.
Barb was born in Churchill, Man. in 1968 to Pat and Allen Langlois. She was a beautiful tiny little blond-haired and blue-eyed baby. At the age of four they moved to Thompson, Man. and then at the age of six moved to Fort Macleod with her family. Barb has resided here ever since.
Barb was a very active and curious child and loved to entertain and make people laugh!
She graduated from F.P. Walshe High School in 1986. Barb worked in the Hire-a-Student office and then at the Empress Theatre as box office manager. It was around this time that she met her husband Perry.
Barb went to nursing school and worked several years as a nurse at the Fort Macleod hospital. Many people mentioned what a good and caring nurse she was.
In 1991 Barb and Perry were married. In 1997 they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl and in 2000 blessed again with a wonderful baby boy.
Barb was a very kind and caring person. She has had her struggles for many years but is now at peace with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Christ Church Anglican, 320 21st St., Fort Macleod, with Rev. Pilar Gateman officiating.
