Granum to host Willow Creek Gospel Jamboree

The Banksons will perform at the annual Willow Creek Gospel Jamboree at Granum.

The Word is spreading, thanks to a summer festival in Granum.
Now in its 16th year, the Willow Creek Gospel Jamboree continues to expand its following, with more than 1,000 people turning out each year for three days of music and worship.
“Our mission is to spread the gospel through music,” organizer Fran Hanson said.
The 2015 Willow Creek Gospel Jamboree is July 24-26 at Granum’s Granview Park.
Master of ceremonies for the weekend is Darrel Janz.
The jamboree gets under way Friday, July 24 with supper at 6 p.m. followed by a concert at 7 p.m.
featuring the Fraser Valley Quartet with Gary VanRy, the Willie Sons, Aerialist, Flood the Stone and a
speaker from Youth One.
Praise and worship and a concert featuring Willie Sons, Trudel Family and Flood the Stone get the day
started at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25.
Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. at the gospel jamboree’s concession.
An afternoon concert is set for
1 p.m. featuring an Aerialist, the Banksons, Fraser Valley Quartet, the Tapleys, Willie Sons and the Trudel Family. Beanie the Clown will lead a children’s program at 1 p.m. and will take the stage at 4 p.m.
The Saturday evening concert at 6:30 p.m. features the Tapleys, Banksons, Trudel Family, Willie Sons and Fraser Valley Quartet.
A free pancake breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m. July 26 by the Granum Christian Reformed Church, followed by praise and worship, an interdenominational church service and guest speakers Bruce and Bonnie Rawling of Tree of Life Ministry.
