Taggart, Tracy

tracy taggart

Tracy Taggart of Fort Macleod was an amazing mother to David Sinclair, Montana Taggart and Robert Taggart; daughter to George Sinclair and Joan Sinclair; sister to Sharon, Suzanne, Robert and Stuart; and beloved and cherished friend to many, many others.
Tracy passed away suddenly and peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in her home at age 50.
We all have had our great memories from arguing over fun, silly things to our full-fledged arguments with things that we are glad we said and some we aren’t.
One thing we all know about Tracy (Mom) was regardless of anything good or bad that’s been said or done she always still cared and forgave (even when we didn’t deserve it) and never wanted to hurt anyone’s feelings no matter what someone else was saying to her.
Tracy’s feelings and wants almost always came in second. She was always caring for others and forgot what was best for her. She loved everyone and anyone who had the privilege to know her and be part of her life.
People will never, ever forget all the amazing things she been there for — graduation, surgeries, weddings, birthdays, births of children, babysitting, asking how to make her stuffing at Christmas, as well as many more things. Her family and friends will miss being able to phone her up, have her visit, or going and visiting her — you could talk to her for hours with it feeling like minutes or have her talk to us the same way.
Tracy may not have been with us all as long as we liked or thought was fair but she definitely made an impression like no other. We will all remember her quirky ways with colourful things and fuzzy socks as well as her love for pajamas with pockets!
Tracy’s one other weakness besides people was her love for animals. There were plenty of times when her kids would bring home a stray — countless cats, a few dogs (some may or may not have had owners that they were returned to). Tracy had a very soft heart always tried to be tough but her big heart always broke through.
This amazing mother, daughter and friend will never be replaced and forever leaves an empty spot in the hearts of her family and friends.
