Byam, Linda (Grams)

passed away suddenly on Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, in Lethbridge at the age of 100 years.
Linda was born in Lang, Sask. on Nov. 17, 1917, to Emil and Paulina Grams. Having grown up in a family of 12 siblings, family meant everything to her. Visiting with family and friends brought a sparkle to her eye that fueled her zest for life. She always made keeping in contact with as many of them as she could a priority until her last days. She was a beautiful soul and a presence that will truly forever be missed.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Emil and Paulina Grams; her son Albert; husband Dan Byam;
sisters Millie Reich, Mathilda Kruger, Elsie Wegwitz, Gunda Chinski and Emma Schultz; and brothers Lou and Reiny Grams.
Linda leaves to mourn her daughter Paulene Droppo; son Arnie (Karen) Byam; grandchildren Michael (Tanya) Bergen and Danette Bergen, all
of Fort Macleod,
Ian (Jennifer) Bergen of Lethbridge, and Amber (Cole) Wilson of Campbell River, B.C.; sisters Ruth Schultz and Martha McFadden; brothers Herb Grams of Weyburn, Sask. and Rudy Grams of Lethbridge; daughter-in-law Rosalind Wilson of B.C; great grandchildren Dulcie, Ainsley, Rae-Lynn, Miley, Olivia, Ilias, Serenity and Daxton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Eden’s Funeral Home, 2424 Fifth Ave., Fort Macleod, with Rev. Joanne Parnham officiating.
At Linda’s request, she will be laid to rest with her mother and father at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weyburn, Sask.
