Child in stolen vehicle found safe, unharmed

Fort Macleod RCMP are continuing their investigation Tuesday into a complaint of a vehicle with a child inside being stolen.
The child was found safe and unharmed 2 1/2 hours after police were notified.
The drama unfolded about 10:30 a.m. Monday in the area of 10th Street and Sixth Avenue in Fort Macleod.
Police were told a grey 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe bearing Alberta licence plate BGF4703 was stolen.
A six-year-old male child was inside the vehicle when it was taken.
The RCMP issues an alert about midnight to be on the lookout for the Tahoe and a boy with dark hair, brown eyes, 44 inches tall and weighing 70 pounds.
Police in a news release said the child was wearing a green T-shirt and black Hurley sweat pants.
The incident came a day after an Amber Alert was issued by Saskatchewan RCMP for a six-year-old girl with epilepsy and autism.
The girl was in a Mercedes Benz stolen outside a strip mall in North Battleford.
The girl was found unharmed about 14 hours later, just two kilometres from where the vehicle was taken.
