DeCecco, Casey

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Casey DeCecco at Extendicare Fort Macleod Continuing Care Services on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, where she had been a resident since 2016.
Casey was born on Sept. 8, 1939 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She lived in Pincher Creek, Cranbrook, Wardner and finally Fort Macleod for the last 38 years.
Casey was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League during her 30 years in Cranbrook. She was an excellent cook and mother.
Casey leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 58 years Bob; her five children, Steven (Debbie), Denise (Rocko) Potorti, Geoff (Lee Anne), Bobbie (Louie) Travierso and Tony (Peggy); 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and her sister Rhonda (Jerry) Hoffman.
A visitation for Casey was held on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Her funeral mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at 1 p.m.
