Paul Oswald Hodges of Fort Macleod, beloved husband of the late Allison Hodges, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018, at the age of 82 years.
Paul is survived by his children Jason (Loralee) Hodges, Kevin (Rhonda) Hodges, Clayton Hodges, and Belinda Schmidt; and grandchildren Devon, Miranda, Chelsey, Megan, Zacharia, Aaron, Austin, Jasper.
Besides his loving wife, Paul was predeceased by his parents Oswald and Carrie Hodges as well as one son Christopher (Melissa) Lee Hodges.
Born in Bengough, Sask., Paul was an only child growing up on the farm, so a lot of responsibility fell on his shoulders at a young age.
Paul eventually met the love of his life, Allison Mathews. They were wed in 1970 and they remained married until Allison’s passing.
Paul loved hunting and camping as a youngster and loved building and fixing. As a result, he spent most of his life as a heavy-duty mechanic with a millwright’s ticket.
He absolutely loved watching wrestling. He could often be caught yelling at his TV as he got so caught up in it.
A celebration of life was held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Royal Canadian Legion, 159 23rd St., Fort Macleod.
Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 724 – 13th St. N., Lethbridge, T1H 2T1, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.O. Box 2211, Lethbridge, T1J 4K7.
