Fort Macleod RCMP seek assistance in locating family dog

Fort Macleod RCMP are looking for assistance in locating Major, a three-year-old registered German Shepherd stolen from a local farm.

Fort Macleod RCMP want to reunite a local family with their beloved pet.
Police said Friday they need the public’s assistance in the search for Major, a three-year-old registered German Shepherd.
On the morning of Dec. 31 just after 8 a.m. Major was stolen from a family farm south of Fort Macleod on the east side of Highway 2.
Const. Tracy Gates said in a news release that Major is micro-chipped and is described as a gentle family animal.
Major has a distinctive black spot on his tongue.
Police are hopeful that anyone who has seen Major will contact Fort Macleod RCMP at 403-553-7200 to allow him to be returned home to his family.
