Pincher Creek RCMP seek to ID armed robbery suspect

Pincher Creek RCMP need the public’s help identifying a suspect in a Dec. 9 armed robbery at the Great Canadian Liquor Store at 838 Main Street Pincher Creek.
Cpl. Jeff Feist said in a news release that about 6 p.m. Dec. 4 a man entered the store and walked directly to a vodka display and started to pick up two cases of vodka.
A store clerk approached the man and asked if he could help.
The man pulled a large knife from his sweater pocket and motioned at the clerk. The clerk was not injured.
The man then left the store with the two cases of vodka and walked south on St. John Avenue.
Feist said it is believed the man entered a car that was waiting and drove away.
The man was wearing a black hoodie with “Carhartt” written down the left sleeve, a black toque and blue jeans. He appears darker skinned, possibly in his 20s.
If you have information contact Pincher Creek RCMP at 403-627-6010 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
