Anderson, Jennifer Theresa

Aug. 4, 1958 — Oct. 24, 2020

Jennifer, a woman of deep love, quiet resolve, loyalty and noble character, loved music.  MercyMe’s song “Even If” became Jennifer’s mantra as she fought bravely to have more days with her loved ones. Precious Jennifer, late Saturday, October 24, 2020, held by sister Theresa and sisters Imelda, Julianna and Linda singing, “Thank you Lord for giving us Jennifer,” ascended to her heavenly home.

Jennifer was born Aug. 4, 1958, in Ponoka to Gerald and Margaret Haseloh, fifth of eight. MyMy!

The Haseloh home enjoyed great meals, family gatherings, going to church and music. Mom, Dad, Uncle Bernard, family and friends gathered around piano, with other instruments, all singing.

Jennifer and Roger married in 1977. Jennifer, Mom and aka Nana, treasured her children and her beloved grandchildren. Terri-Ann, (Tyler, Ashley, Avery, {Kirk}) Trevor, (Ethan, Manning, Jack, Brody, {Traci}) Curtis, (Dylan, Ryley, {Lindsay})

Memory shared, “Mom’s absolute favourite was Sunday. Going to church, cooking a big meal and having her kids and grandkids over for the day.” Love you Mom aka Nana. Jennifer is remembered for fabulous cooking, canning, baking, even making Playdough grandkids could eat!

Again, Jennifer loved music.  Memory shared, “Jennifer sang every morning to her children with their names in ‘Thank you Lord for giving me Terri, Trevor, Curtis,’” Love you Mom.

Jennifer enjoyed working at the Fort Macleod Hospital, Westco Drilling and Piles and then Westco Construction. Memory shared, “Jennifer was very encouraging and a joy to have at  Westco.”  “Every day Jennifer would write an uplifting Quote of the Day on the board. Jennifer always knew how to bring a  positive outlook to any day.” Love you Mom.

Heartfelt appreciation to Pastor Kevin Roberts, dear friend Francina, Jennifer’s Church Family, the Spring Point Community Society, Fort Macleod Community Support Beds and to many, many others who ‘moved mountains’ to show Jennifer practical and sincere love.

Jennifer loved her Fort Macleod Alliance Church. Jennifer’s stained-glass work resides above the main entry doors. Jennifer did request and prepared for a celebration of life to be held at her church. Date: Saturday, June 5, 2021.

Jennifer, ever remembered and ever loved.
