
The Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit recovered stolen copper wire and an oil site breathing apparatus following a two-month investigation.
Three men were arrested and charged following a May 25 search of a northwest Calgary residence.
The stolen copper wire was being sold to metal recycling businesses.

The Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit and Calgary Police Service, executed a search warrant May 25.
Police seized more than 800 pounds of stolen copper wire, a stolen quad, and a breathing apparatus from an oil site.
Three men were charged with trafficking property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The men also face charges of break and enter to commit theft.
They were released on bail and are scheduled to appear in Calgary court on July 10.
