Family members and patients receiving treatment at Jack Ady Cancer Centre or Chinook Regional Hospital now have one less thing to worry about, thanks to access to low-cost and convenient accommodations.
The Guest House at Alberta Rose Lodge offers Cancer Centre outpatients from other communities a comfortable place to stay while receiving treatment.
Adult family members of hospital patients can also rent these low-cost accommodations made possible through a partnership between Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation and Green Acres Foundation.
Guest House rooms are available for the daily rate of $35 for single occupancy and $50 for double.
Each suite is newly-furnished and has a private washroom.
Free parking is on site and meals are available in the lodge’s dining room.
The Guest House is a barrier-free facility and is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Alberta Rose Lodge at 2551 32nd St. S. is in a quiet neighbourhood close to shopping, services and restaurants.
To book a room, call the Green Acres Foundation at 403-381-1155 or e-mail bookings@greenacres.ab.ca. After hours, call 403-327-5745.
