Fort Macleod RCMP investigate theft, vandalism

Fort Macleod RCMP are investigating the theft of a pickup and an ATV that resulted in vandalism at a residence near Monarch.
During the night of Aug. 28 and the morning of Aug. 29 someone stole an ATV from Slomp Dairy Farm near Monarch.
The person drove the ATV down the road and left it in the driveway of Monarch Feeders, then stole a 1995 white GMC pickup truck.
The suspect then drove to a residence and crashed through a heavy metal gate.
The pickup was later found abandoned in the construction zone at the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 519 near Nobleford.
The suspect is an 18- to 20-year-old male, about five foot 10 inches tall with shoulder length black hair. He was wearing a ball cap, camouflage shirt and blue jeans.
