It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Donnabelle (Donna) Barr, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the age of 93. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, creativity, faith, and service to others.

Born on Jan. 8, 1933 in Fort Macleod to Gilbert and Agnes Gunderson, Donna lived a life marked by love, dedication, and compassion. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support of family and friends.

She found beauty in the world around her, and expressed it through her art. Whether painting, drawing, or pursuing other creative avenues, she shared her love of art freely and encouraged other to embrace their own artistic expressions.

Donna’s faith was a guiding force throughout her life. As a devoted member of her church community, she lived her beliefs through service, prayer, and fellowship. She found strength in her faith, shared it with others, and offered encouragement in support of others who crossed her path.
